Sorting

Today, the kids discussed what it means to sort objects. Shapes were given to partners. As a class, we came up with several ways to sort the shapes. Kids came up with sorting by color, shape, the number of sides, etc. If you have extra time at home, this can be a fun activity for the kids to practice. Sorting is a kindergarten expectation.
