Today in the library we watched a short film, Step to Safety, which features a real robot, ASIMO, showing kids how to navigate streets and intersections! We learned the importance of crossing at intersections, stopping at curbs, looking righat and left and sometimes behind us, not walking out from parked cards, etc. After the film, Mrs. Rolfes showed us non-fiction books in the Mann collection about ASIMO and other cool robots and inventions. The kids were very excited about this lesson!
