We have had a great start to the new year! Our students are half way through their kindergarten year. How quickly our time together has flown. Because our kids are approaching first grade, I have been really focusing on forming correct sentences. If your child is writing at home, remind them of lower case letters, good handwriting, and punctuation. I point this out to the kids AFTER their idea is on the paper. I will share some examples of your child's work at during parent/teacher conferences.
Also, we have a new student, Owen. All the kids have been great showing Owen around and teaching him the ins and outs of our kindergarten classroom. We all welcome Owen to our school!
