St. Louis Buddies!

We have started a new "buddy" group with a first grade class in St. Louis. Yesterday, we introduced ourselves to one another via Skype. The kids can see the other class on our smartboard! Our introduction only lasted about five minutes. Every Thursday, we will spend about 5-10 minutes with this class talking about the weather, math, reading, etc. The kids were very excited to talk into the camera in a clear, loud voice. This activity is great to learn how to speak in front of a group. The class seemed a bit shy with this "new" technology however, I am sure we will adapt easily!
